Mutiara Airport Palu (PLW) or now known as SIS Mutiara Airport Palu Al-Jufri is the main entrance for air transport in the province of Palu in the Central Sulawesi. Mutiara airport name itself is given by the first President Ir. Sukarno in 1957 during the Airport completion. However, after the airport renovation is finishing in 2014, the airport name was changed to SIS Al-Jufri Mutiara Palu, where Al-Jufrie SIS is the name of the national hero origin Central Sulawesi. Mutiara Airport Palu may be the newest airport in Indonesia today.

How to go to Palu: The Access to Palu Central Sulawesi
1. BY AIR
The easiest way to go to Palu from other cities is by air. Husein Sastranegara Airport is located just outside the city. The flights will cost around 1 million rupiahs or around 80 dollars from Jakarta, Surabaya, Makasar, Bali, or Lombok with several regular daily flights.
